Bad Boy Brawlers Suspended 2 Games
The action was hot and heavy at a recent <Nevada:team#178>-<Utah:team#177> game at Piranhas Ballpark in more ways than one. When tempers flared, both benches emptied and a mild melee ensued. The only thing hurt was a few players' pride. Two of the main figures in the brawl were suspended today by league officials. The Piranhas <Dan Thomas:player#3151> and <Utah:team#177>'s <Sammy Krause:player#123> will each miss 2 games for their roles in the fight.

"We do not condone this kind of behavior on the field," the league announcement read. "As such, we believe that this punishment fits the actions taken by these two players. We hope that there will not be a repeat of the incident or else the consequences will be even more severe."

This season <Thomas:player#3151> is batting .327 with 136 hits, 14 home runs, 88 RBIs, 71 walks, .432 OBP and has scored 84 runs. He has played in 113 games.
