Steelheads Halt Selph's Hit Streak
<Arizona:team#6> left fielder <Ned Selph:player#5646> went 0-for-4 today in <Arizona:team#6>'s 5-4 triumph over the <Idaho Steelheads:team#92>, snapping his 20-game hitting streak.

"I just would have preferred later," he said with a laugh. "It was fun though."

When Selph made an out in his last chance at the plate, his teammates congratulated him in the dugout. In the clubhouse after the game, he seemed unbothered by the streak ending.

"There's nothing scientific about it, that's for sure," Steelheads manager said of Selph's streak. "He had a nice little run. Let him start another one when we finish the series here."

<Selph:player#5646> has collected 162 hits for the <Vipers:team#6> this year, 5 of them home runs. He has also netted 40 RBIs and scored 88 runs while batting .324.
