Killy Goes 5-for-6 Against Annapolis
It's not something you read about in the sports pages every day -- a 5-for-6 day. For many, it might come around only once in a career -- and for <Gene Killy:player#11211>, it came around today. 

The 25-year-old second baseman scattered hits all over Whirlwind Alley to pace the <Oklahoma City Whirlwind:team#13> to a 26-4 victory over the <Annapolis Destroyers:team#12>. 

<Annapolis:team#12> skipper   told reporters in the press room that "Killy deserves a hat-tip."

"He hit some good pitches against us," he said. "In fact, according to our scouting reports, Killy hit several that he is not supposed to be able to hit." 

<Gene Killy:player#11211> hit a two-run home run off <Reginald McDaniel:player#2610> in the 1st, hit an RBI triple in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 5th and struck out in the 6th.

In 88 games this season <Killy:player#11211> has compiled a .318 batting average with 111 hits and 7 home runs. He has also scored 63 times and knocked in 50 runs.
