Athletics Drop Blue Pirates with Late Score
<New Jersey:team#80> and <Ontario:team#77> duked it out at Farmers Market Stadium and the Athletics came out victorious.

The Athletics faced a stiff challenge from <Ontario:team#77> pitcher <Hoon Yi:player#2803>, but persevered to claim a win at Farmers Market Stadium. The final score was 6-4. Yi went 7 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. <Tim Hawthorne:player#991> converted his 26th save in 28 tries.

It could have been a different outcome for New Jersey, had it not been for <Luis Antonio Pérez:player#5163>, the slugging first baseman . Pérez contributed a run-scoring  hit-by-pitch in the top of the ninth inning to put New Jersey up, 5-4.

"In baseball, you have your ups and downs," said Ontario manager  . "You just try to stay level-headed the whole time."

At 51-61, the Athletics are currently 4th in the Patriot League North.
