Steelheads Win at Illinois, 9-8
<Illinois:team#74> third baseman <Xing-peng Hsi:player#2401> had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 9-8, to <Idaho:team#92> at Todd Berry Memorial Field. Hsi went 2-4 with a home run, a double,  and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Reliever <Juan Carrillo:player#1532> picked up the win. His record improves to 3-0. <Norogumi Ueno:player#8014> took the loss. Idaho now owns a record of 53-51.

Idaho used the clutch hitting of <Sadao Tanaka:player#2813> to capture the win. The designated hitter drilled a 2-run  double in the top of the seventh inning to give the Steelheads the lead, 8-6. For the game, <Tanaka:player#2813> had 2 singles and 1 double in 5 at-bats.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Idaho manager  .
